Pioneer Corporation
Pioneer Corporation announced today that it has donated 35 million Japanese yen, collected through a matching gift program as announced at March 15, to Japanese Red Cross Society for helping relief and recovery efforts in communities affected by Japan Earthquake on March 11.
Additionally, Pioneer Group donated 50 units of car navigation systems to Yamagata prefecture to help their rehabilitation and reconstruction.
Pioneer Group companies and their employees around the world also contributed to the relief efforts and donated 21 million Japanese yen to Japanese Red Cross Society and other relief organizations.
Pioneer and its employees express deep condolences for victims of the earthquake and sincerely hope for swift recovery of the people and areas affected.
