Pioneer ControlApp

Application Support & Guide

ControlApp is an application that allows you
to control selected Pioneer products (see model details below)
with your iPhone/iPod touch through your home network.
In addition to our network audio players, this version adds
support for AV Receivers and Blu-ray Disc players.

Network Audio Player

  • Select stand-by ON / OFF
    (requires "Quick-Start Mode" setting to be ON)
  • Select Input
  • Browse and select music files on your connected music server
  • Select Internet Radio Stations
  • Basic operations such as Play, Pause, Skip, and Stop
    from USB memory or a server connected to the network

Compatible models : N-50, N-30

AV Receiver

  • Power ON/OFF
    (requires "Network Standby" setting to be ON)
  • Volume up/down
  • Select Input
  • Set surround sound mode
  • Select Internet Radio Stations
  • Browse and select music files on your connected music server
  • Basic operations such as Play, Pause, Skip, and Stop
    from USB memory or a server connected to the network

Europe: VSX-827-K, VSX-527-K


Blu-ray Disc Player

  • Accessing menus and cursor navigation
  • Basic operations such as Play, Stop, Forward, Reverse

Quick-Start Mode allows the power to be turned ON / OFF even when the system is in standby mode.
Changing input/sources can also be made. In addition, browse and select music from a connected server, or enjoy your favorite internet radio station. All operated with the touch of a finger.
