MPT Pioneer Technology (Malaysia) won an award for the second time in the Manufacturing category at the Malaysian National Quality Environment (5S) Convention. The first time was in 2003.
A total of ninety companies participated in the convention. Entries were audited by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation and assessed for their contribution to a quality environment. MPT’s 5S activities were the most highly acclaimed in the Productivity category and MPT received a certificate, trophy and prize money at the award ceremony held in the Sheraton Hotel, Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur on October 29, 2008.

After the ceremony, MPT gave a presentation on its 5S activities for companies participating in the convention, with the aim of raising the overall level of quality environment activities in Malaysia.
MPT will continue to carry out 5S activities to all employees and will plan for further improvement in future.
