MPT (MALAYSIA) Receives Appreciation Award
For Its Support in Recycling Activity

MPT(PIONEER TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.)'s Recycling Activity has again gained recognition. On 29 December 2003, the Johor State Government awarded MPT an Appreciation award during the Johor State Recycling Day Launching Ceremony at Plaza Angsana, Johor Bahru.

The award is the second appreciation award following the first award, which was received during the National Recycling Day launch on 9 November 2003.

Recipients of the award were judged based from their active role in recycling (based from weight of waste recycled) and their awareness activity held within the company. From January to November 2003, MPT has recycled about 483 tons of waste namely paper, plastic, aluminium, tin and other precious metals like solder dross. EPSON, Johor is among other recipients who received the award.
